FAQs
Question : "What
are the primary benefits of
your program to our church and are
they verifiable?
Answer :
Please see the full benefits list titled "World Reach Project S.O.W.
Benefits List" that
was designed specifically for this question.
Question : "Programs
like these need to be unique, interesting and interactive for
our congregation. Is yours?"
Answer : World Reach has the
unique ability and perspective to draw on 25+ years of actual experience
and delivery
of the message of foreign missions. We know what
connects and touches prepared hearts regarding this vital subject.
The needs, realities and opportunities of becoming involved at
a greater level in missions are clearly presented in an individually
challenging program. It is designed specifically with an "opportunity" of
interaction and direct congregation participation as the primary
goals.
Question : "If
we already have an on-going and effective foreign missions plan,
why should we entertain your program?"
Answer :
Our experience is that once this concept has been properly "seeded and watered" by this unique
approach, presentation and implementation, then "the harvest" of
the other areas of your mission participation will actually increase
including even your general giving.
Question : "What
are the general requirements for us as a church to be a viable
candidate for this program?"
Answer :
Your church size is not necessarily a requirement, but your heart
and commitment toward missions is our primary focus. We do ask
for an initial interview with your pastor (leadership) to establish
and discover that Project S.O.W. is indeed a match for your church
body. Ultimately, we ask that a "full and unanimous" vote
be cast by your church leadership to adopt this program. That
is our primary form of registering your "commitment" and adoption
of this unique program.
Question : "What
does Project S.O.W. mean and how did you decide to label
your program as such?"
Answer :
The principle of "sowing and
reaping" is ancient. It is the basic premise behind the missionary
movement. It is a primary part of our mission at World Reach. As
such, it was an easy assignment and "solution" to
brand our program as S.O.W. ("Seeds Over the World").
It is also a short and easy acronym to remember.
Question : "What
are some of the comments you have received in the churches where
this has been implemented?"
Answer : "I heartily recommend this
practical tool to further God's kingdom and grow God's people.
At SMIC we will be doing it again"..."World Reach's
program of seed money allowed me (a busy housewife with three
active young boys) to feel as if I was contributing to God's
calling for all His people to reach others for Christ"..."I
also learned that God wants us to use all of our talents and
gifts to build up the Kingdom of God"...
Question : "Exactly...how
does this all work?"
Answer : A World Reach representative will
contact the pastor (leadership) of your church. If there is an
interest, he will be directed to the World Reach website to download
all the details (or have the option for W/R to send the printed
version directly to him). Once all the information has been digested,
World Reach leadership will arrange to meet personally with your
pastor (leadership) and cover any remaining questions or details.
If it is agreed that the program is a fit for your church, World
Reach will ask for a "commitment" in
the form of a unanimous vote by church leadership. Once the date
for the introduction is set, then the various materials, promotional
items and other particulars are covered within the "ToolKit" that
is specifically designed for that purpose. The initial presentation
at your church and the sequential follow-up session will be conducted
by the founder of World Reach...Tim Prewitt. World Reach representatives
will be at hand and available to assist in the implementation throughout
the entire process.
