This past year
(2003), our church had the privilege of learning some important
spiritual lessons of stewardship through Project S.O.W. The 90-day
journey of investing, working, reaping, and giving was both a
highlight and a help to educate our people in the area of working
and investing for kingdom purposes.
As a pastor, it was exciting and encouraging to watch God's people
see the potential of intentional investing and experience the joy
of giving. I heartily recommend this practical tool to further
God's kingdom and grow God's people. At SMIC, we will be doing
it again.

Our involvement in ProjectSOW as a church family proved to be quite a valuable experience. People from every age group in our church were involved and excited about the way they could invest themselves in missions.
I suppose I was most impressed with the way many of our families worked together during our time in the project. Mothers and Fathers were encouraged by the way their kids were investing themselves in the Lord's work. A real synergy developed throughout the process.
